Here’s the announcement for our final event of this year, the Annual General Meeting. If you’ve been reading the emails at all you’ll know that this is where we get together to look back over the past year and put in place the people who’ll be running Photosoc next year. To make things a bit more… sociable, we’ve decided to lay on some free wine and pizza for you – best get there early, I tend to be hungry on a Tuesday :)
We’ll also be presenting the winner of the Photosoc Awards with his very special trophy (if you’ve not voted, send your candidate for biggest contribution to Photosoc to me at atjbramley@hotmail.com), as well as giving out a few other prizes to those deemed ‘deserving’. And because we spoil you, there’ll be a raffle, with prizes including magazine subscriptions, print & slide film, photographic kit, memberships, print credit, a date with the darkroom girls… Not to be missed.
The AGM will be in the normal room (Pentland) at 7pm this Tuesday. Please remember to bring your membership cards if you’re voting – saves us a lot of hassle checking whether you paid up or not…

In other news, ALL KIT MUST BE RETURNED by Tuesday. There’s a silver Manfrotto lightstand that’s knocking about somewhere, please bring it back :)
The darkrooms and printer will still be accesible over the holidays and there might be an impromptu event or two, so keep your eyes on the email. Otherwise, enjoy the rest of your weekend and I’ll see you Tues :)
