The society has a large range of equipment available to rent for free by our members, including a range of film/digital slr cameras, lighting equipment and lenses.
There are however some rules to follow, to insure that everybody gets the opportunity to make rentals.
- If you wish to rent something you must complete the contact forms below for the item/s you would like.
- Rentals run for one week only. The item being rented must be collected at a Friday meeting and returned the following meeting. If this will not be possible, we must be informed before you take the item.
- Anyone failing to return the item on time (without letting us know, if there is a reason) will be fined £10 for each week it is not returned. This will be taken from your deposit. In addition if it is more than a week late, you will be banned from further rentals.
- Any damage to equipment, accidental or not, will result in the seizure of your deposit money until an agreed amount is deducted. This amount will be based on extent of damage, cost of replacement and will be made by the committee.
From this I will form waiting lists and email those who will get the gear on each Friday.
Please can I also ask that you bring with you a completed rentals form, which you can download from here.
